[% 9668 | | Regent Seven Seas %] has been busy announcing new programs. Here’s a rundown of the latest from this luxury line.

  • Culinary programs: Regent has announced its food and wine programs for 2008. Guest speakers include John Scharffenberger of Scharffenberger Chocolate and pastry chef Arnon Oren. Other voyages feature lessons in preparing Indian food, an exploration into Adriatic cuisine such as caviar and champagne, and chef-led visits to local markets in Argentina, St. Barts, and Costa Rica.
  • Antiques Boatshow: Antiques experts, some hailing from the BBC program “Antiques Roadshow,” will come aboard select cruises to appraise guests’ possessions and point out the best places in port to shop for antiques. You can find these theme cruises on sailings to the U.S. and Bermuda, the Black Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles.
  • Photography: Ken Haas, a professional photographer and author, will lead photography workshops on select 2008 cruises to Jordan, the U.A.E., and Kenya. Photography buffs can learn about the art of lighting and shadows and how to shoot landscapes and objects in motion.
