Vietnam What to Pack
Traveling to Vietnam is very different than traveling to many other countries. Many parts of this country lack the basic necessities that many of us are accustomed to. As such, when you travel, it is very important to pack the appropriate things. If you do not, you may be unable to get them there. Here is a list of Vietnam what to pack.
Toiletries and Personal Care Items
When you pack, ensure you pack all of the personal care and toiletries that you want to have on hand. Items that we are used to finding everywhere, such as tampons, are hard to come by there. In addition to your regular toiletries, ensure you bring bug spray or repellent. Mosquitoes are out in masses near the water.
If you are planning on bring any electronic items with you, be sure to bring an adapter. They have different outlets there and without the adapter, you may not be able to plug in your items. Additionally, be sure to pack any charging cords with you. Electronic items, such as cell phones and tablets, are not as common in Vietnam as they are here. If you forget your cord, trying to find one to buy can be a challenge.
Vietnam can be humid. Make sure you pack clothing that is comfortable and that breathes. Also be sure to pack a hat and comfortable shoes.
What to Pack It In
The last tip is to pack all of your luggage in a backpack or duffel bag, rather than a suitcase. Roads and sidewalks are not always paved, so pulling a suitcase is not easy. Being able to carry your luggage is much easier.
