Kids Can Fly to Scandinavia for (Almost) Free with This Airline

Looking for a more exciting family vacation than staying local this February break, but not sure you’d be able to afford the airfare? Try Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden: If you’re traveling with kids, one airline is offering up basically free plane tickets to Scandinavia when you book before December 10, 2018.

If you buy an adult ticket to Scandinavia on SAS before then, you can take along up to eight kids (under 12 years old) for just the taxes and fees on the standard airfare. Not convinced? SAS says taxes and fees total about $60 round-trip, depending on the route.

The only catch is that this is a flash sale: available only for under a week. But it applies to travel between January 8 and April 2, from any SAS’s seven U.S. gateways (New York, Washington D.C., Boston, L.A., San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago) to any SAS destination in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. That’s a lot of flexibility for double-digit transatlantic airfare.
