Popular low-cost carrier JetBlue continues its rapid route expansion, this week announcing the addition of three new cities to its network.
JetBlue says it will begin flying between Houston (Hobby) and New York (JFK) on September 7. The airline will also fly between both Tucson and Sarasota and JFK starting September 28. Sarasota becomes the seventh Florida route served by JetBlue.
In addition to direct flights between these destinations and JFK, the new routes will have access to many of JetBlue’s other cities served from its JFK hub.
Whenever an airline announces a new route, you can expect it to offer discounted sale fares to kick off the new service. That’s the case here. Our airfare beat editor Jessica Labrencis today analyzes JetBlue’s Houston sale fares to determine if they really do offer value.
