Andrew Compart at Travel Weekly (registration required) checks in today with some interesting news: JetBlue has applied to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for eight arrival slots at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
The popular low-cost carrier does not currently fly to either of Chicago’s major airports. The possible arrival of JetBlue would mean more price competition on routes that either originate from or connect at one of the nation’s busiest airports. I’ll keep you posted as this story develops.
