It was a tight race, but Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (6.7 percent of all votes) just squeaked by Denver International Airport (6.6 percent) for the win. Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport rounded out the top three. We took the country's 10 busiest airports into consideration when putting this list together, and several of you wrote in to mention smaller airports among your favorites as well.
What, to you, defines a great airport? Is it a plethora of restaurants? A few places to window shop? Or do more practical concerns take center stage, such as easy exchange between terminals, plenty of pick-up and drop-off options, optimal crowd flow, and the like?
