In recent years, Club Carlson promotions have been among the standouts among special offers from the major hotel chains. The latest is no exception.

Through December 31, Club Carlson members can earn 15,000 bonus points for one eligible stay at any Park Inn hotel in the U.S., Canada, or Latin America.

Deal or No Deal

The promotion’s headline boasts a free night after the required stay. Which is right: 15,000 points are enough for a free award night at a Category 1 or 2 hotel within the Carlson network. So it’s possible to earn a free night after paid a one-night stay.

From a value standpoint, then, this is a very strong offer.

On a down note, there are only a dozen Park Inns where the bonus may be earned. Seven are in the U.S., four are in Canada, and one is in Costa Rica. So the opportunities to earn the bonus are extremely limited.

Bottom line: If you can work around the geographic limitations, this is an offer well worth taking advantage of.
