New Harry Potter Hotel Rooms Charm Muggles on Holiday

If a visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter just isn’t immersive enough for you, the Georgian House Hotel has got you covered.

A new set of Harry Potter-themed hotel rooms at the London boutique hotel debuted to much fanfare last week. The hotel rooms, with their four-poster canopied beds, gothic mirrors, cauldrons, potion bottles, and even spell books (sorry, Squibs), transport visitors to Hogwarts. The staff of the 163-year-old hotel even lights candles and plays music as guests enter their wizard chambers.

For visitors who want even more Potter, the hotel offers package rates that include tickets to the Warner Brothers studio tour “The Making of Harry Potter” as well as a full English breakfast (booger-flavored beans not included). The package rates begin at about $584 per night; room-and-breakfast-only rates begin at about $336.

If you’re not able to make it to London any time soon but still need a Potter fix, take note: On October 31, author J.K. Rowling will be releasing a new short story about everyone’s least favorite Ministry bureaucrat, Dolores Umbridge, on her Pottermore website.

Consider us spellbound.

Readers, check out more photos below. Would you stay at the new Harry Potter hotel rooms?
