Tampa, FL

Well I didnt know exactly what to make sure of the trip but it was definitely the perfect time to go during sports season. Even though it was a few hours away from Miami (give or take a few more) The Miami Heat were playing the Finals, and the USA National Soccer team were having a tournament game for the Copa De Oro (The Gold Cup) which is CONCACAFs tournament.

I decided to go there with a clear conscious. I knew that as soon I arrived at Tampa’s Airport there would be signs and brochures of all the experience you can encounter! From swimming with dolphins in Clearwater for 33 dollars, to the Tampa Bay night scene, to Manatee watch around the bays, to the lush Palm Spring fields and parks flourished with palm trees to the IMG center in West Shore BLVD right by on of Tampas most exclusive malls.

The weather was hot and humid but what would you expect from Florida? I was not discouraged but instead enjoyed the openess of Tampa Bay and its neolistic infrastructure. There’s a First Watch there to which is a breakfast eatery that I eat in my neighborhood up in Virginia.

Well the Heat loss but everyone cherished the excitement that was in the end anti climatic, we almost just switched to a review of a Tampa Bay Ray hockey game.

Now I bought tickets to the USA vs PANAMA game at the Tampa Bay buccaneers Raymond James stadium which turned out to be a double header of CANADA vs GUADELOUPE. Canada lost but as amazing as the stadium was and how the American fans and traveling soccer group “The American Outlaws” let me sit in the supporter section with them brought all the spirits I needed down to the very end of the game where we did lose against Panama. Did anyone know there is an actual ship right next to the field?

So this was my trip. How was yours?
