Irish Annies— An extremely popular pub with European and American travelers, Irish Annies is known for its acoustic music by local artists, beer barrel wall art, comfort food sandwiches, and splendid cocktails. Elvis has been known to make an appearance here once in a while, too.

The Hideaway–This bar used to be known as the Robin Hood, then closed down for a while, and re-opened as The Hideaway. The bar has a large room in the back and a smaller area at the front with tables and chairs for enjoying the warm weather. It lives up to its name of being hidden way, and is definitely off the beaten path, so there isn’t much street noise around it. It specializes in English food and drinks, and stays open for a traditional English breakfast, too.

Plaza de Tutti Frutti–One of the best times to be had in Nerja is here. This is considered THE nightspot of the entire town. All other nightlife fun branches out from this club. It is actually a plaza in town that has between twenty and twenty-five bars and nightclubs encircling it, with a spacious open area in the middle. Most of the tourists and local young people come here for a good time. Some dance clubs in the Plaza have a cover fee, but most are free. There are places with food, and nearly every place has high quality, creative drinks. It’s a superb place to dance and kick back with your friends while enjoying your trip to Nerja.
