Maya Cocktail Bar is actually located in the heart of Thamel, the most popular area for nightclubs in Nepal. The area is filled with bars, so you’ll find something to suit your taste. This area is pretty much “anything goes”. You can wear whatever you want and act pretty much however you want. One popular bar in Thamel is the Ice Bar, located next to the Radisson Hotel.

Rum Doodle 

Rum Doodle is consistently voted as one of the best bars in Nepal for nightlife. It even won the award from Time Magazine in 1985. It is a place where many trekkers go after they climb Mt. Everest. This bar is especially good if you are going out with a large group. If you are a climbing enthusiast you will love the decor in this bar. The walls are filled with footprints signed by some of the most famous mountain climbers in the history of Mount Everest, including Sir Edmund Hillary and Reinhold Messner.
