Hoi An Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Hoi An Nightlife

The city of Hoi An is one of the most popular locations for tourism in the country of Vietnam. It has been declared a World Heritage Site because of the fact that it is such a good representation of a Southeast Asian shipping port from 1500-1900. Many of the older buildings still stand there today. With a healthy stream of tourists, comes an active nightlife. If you visit, you should check out these options.

Dinner and Drinks at the Tam Tam Cafe

Many western tourists enjoy the Tam Tam because they get can some of their favorite western food there early in the evening and then stay later for a nightclub experience. One interesting thing the restaurant does is offer cooking classes and lessons to the diners there. You might even end up making your own dinner. It is a popular hang out for Australian tourists in the area. You are likely to meet a few of them in the bar area after you have had your dinner.

Happy Happy Why Not is the Late Night Spot

If you are up until the early hours of the morning, visit Happy Happy Why Not. It seems that just about anything legal goes in this wild and crazy late-night spot. Don’t go there unless you plan to drink and enjoy listening to loud music. This is where the younger crowd in towns goes out to party. It really comes alive after midnight. The decorations and vibe in the bar are similar to that of a punk rock bar in the United States.

Lanterns at Night

The town becomes lit up with lanterns each night. These lanterns are most prevalent near the river if you wish to see them.
