Hilltribe Settlement in Chiang Mai

Tourists are welcome to visit the Karen Long Neck Hilltribe Settlement. This village in Chiang Mai is known for the women who wear heavy brass rings around their necks, forearms, and shins. The girls begin wearing these rings at the age of five. The men work in the fields while the women make cloth by hand that they sell to visitors.
