This company features minivans that can seat up to six passengers.  They run regular routes from the airport to almost all the hotels in downtown Singapore. Visit the desk at baggage claim labeled “Airport Shuttle” to receive a boarding ticket for the MaxiCab and then head out to their clearly labeled stop. You most likely won’t have to wait longer than fifteen minutes, but possibly up to thirty. You don’t need to make reservations and the cost is about half of a private taxi. There’s room for your luggage and your driver will know exactly where to go when you give them the name of your hotel.

Woodlands Transport

Another company offering minibus service in and around Singapore is Woodlands Transport. Their shuttles include an informative video highlighting popular tourist destinations around this beautiful city.

If you are flying a low cost airline around the Orient, you may need to transfer to the budget terminal at the airport. There are free shuttles that run about every ten minutes that connect all the terminals for easy access to your departure gate. Look for informative signs or ask one of the friendly clerks when you check in.
