Tagaytay is a popular tourist destination overlooking the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. While you are photographing the scenic views, take the time to shop in Tagaytay and experience the local culture and charm while finding the right unique items to bring home.

Markets and Shops

Located 3 km west of the Rotunda, you can purchase all your necessities at the Summit Ridge Promenade. Robinsons Supermarket is on the ground floor and tenants sell food and non-food items.

Picnic grove is home to many local souvenir shops where you will find everything from novelty items to t-shirts and handbags. Knowing how to haggle will keep you from paying too much for your merchandise.

Located near the Mahogany Hotel, the Mahogany public market is where you’ll find the famous Tagaytay beefmeat. Here you’ll find top quality beefmeat along with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sweets and Confections

While you’ll find many restaurants and take-aways offering sweets along the Tagaytay-Santa Rosa Road, Balai Pasalubong is the new and upcoming restaurant and store. Balai sells their own sweet creations like the crispy silvanas, fruit tarts, and buko pies and they host confections from other Philippine areas.

Rowena sells jams, assorted sweets, candies, cakes, and pies. It is located near the fresh market. They are famous for their fresh tarts filled with many fruit flavors and other fillings. Strawberry and blueberry are the most popular tarts. They also have buko pies, pastilla de leche, polvoron, and much more.

Antonio’s sells organic produce, pastries, pies, breads, and desserts. Eat in or take away items. They make their own sauces, condiments, and jams along with cheesecakes, butter cakes, and other sweets. It is a great place for breakfast.
