Sarajevo Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Sarajevo Nightlife

Sarajevo is both the capital and largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a prominent cultural center for the region, and has a robust nightlife full of clubs and bars.

Sloga

Sloga is a local club that is fun, packed, and affordable. Bet of all, it hosts live music consisting of great Bosnian rock bands. The first room is small and has a bar, as well as a stage where someone typically performs traditional music. Upstairs, the scene is quite different. The inside is quite large and plays host to far more upbeat, rock oriented music. The drinks at Sloga are quite well priced and the club can see as many as 500 people visiting at any given time.

Various Bar

The Baron Café Bar is located on a side street along Muvekita, just off the main street of Ferhadija, in the heart of the Turkish Bascarsija region of the city. It’s one of the few bars that stays open past 11 in the evening. Inside, you can listen to local music and enjoy a few well priced drinks. It’s a classy looking place that includes an upstairs terrace.

Another popular spot is the Guiness Pub, an Irish Bar located near Pigeon Square. It serves food until late in the evening alongside a number of stout drinks. If you’re still looking for a place to find a drink there are many bars and pubs tucked into the Old Turkish Quarter.
