Nights are peaceful and quiet in Pulau Tioman with clear skies showing many twinkling stars. However, if you prefer to get a drink or listen to music in the evening, there are several bars that offer entertainment.

Pulau Tioman Bars

For a casual drink at the end of a busy day diving, try Tioman Cabana Beach Bar. You will find cheerful company in a casual setting. Paya Beach Resort Bar is a nice place to chill with a beer or cocktail (heat makes drinking wine problematic). Safety Stop Cafe and Bar is great after a day of diving to just chill out and watch the sea while sipping a beer. BB Cafe is a relaxing bar on stilts which opens in the late afternoon around 4 pm. They serve cold beer for the people who have been snorkeling and sun tanning on the beach all day.

Entertainment

While you can probably spend every evening enjoying the spectacular sunsets, you can also enjoy a live band performance every night (except on Monday) at Beach Bar in the vicinity of Berjaya Tioman Beach, Golf & Spa Resort. You can also play pool with kids or adults at the Paya Beach Resort.

Great Food at Juara Beach Resort

Often in the evening, you can find a great barbeque dinner on the Juara Beach, right in front of the resort. Foods include barbeque snapper, jumbo prawns, chicken legs, cuttlefish and crabs. The dinner spread is mouthwatering and the seafood is absolutely fresh. Steiven, the owner, serves fish netted in the late afternoon on the same day by his men in the South China Sea. After the dinner, the resort staff hold a bonfire on the beach. You can sit around the bonfire and dance all night under the moonlight.
