Manama Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Manama Nightlife

When you are visiting Manama, Bahrain there can be the assumption that you aren’t going to find a very vibrant night life. It turns out the exact opposite is true and there is more to see and do during the night than you might ever expect.

Diggers

What kind of bar is a perfect fit for the middle of a desert region? A bar that is supposed to be set in an underground cave, of course. Diggers seems to have a kind of sense of humor about the location of the bar and night club. The place is set in such a way that you will feel as though you have taken a trip under the surface of the earth. Being underground is the hook, but the bar is also one that has a vibrant music scene and European and North American travelers can feel right at home while still managing to remember that they are on vacation in a far away land.

Wrangler’s

This restaurant and bar is a place that allows for some good down home eating during the day. Travelers can even feel as though they are dining in a small town in the USA. The bar isn’t very packed and the employees are able to serve food rather quickly before the sun goes down. The place takes on another personality altogether when the night comes. The place still serves some food, but the middle of the restaurant is cleared out and people start to dance the night away. This place turns into a full-fledged nightclub complete with all the beautiful people in Manama. This place definitely still has a western feel to the way it goes about bringing entertainment but you’ll also be able to know you are in a faraway land enough that this will feel like a very fun adventure.

JJ’s Irish Pub And Restaurant

Yes, JJ’s really is an Irish pub. While there are a number of places around Manama that allow for people to get a little bit of a feel like they are back home but there is no place that stands out the way JJ’s Irish Pub stands out. This place comes complete with a grinning leprechaun as its logo. The place is also labeled as one that is “touristic” which obviously means that they want people who feel the pull of a tourist stop. The surroundings and food are all geared towards making people feel as though they can step out of Bahrain and into London. This place is so authentic that it’s attached to the Al Bustan Hotel but once you’ve been in there for a little while, you’ll forget that you are actually in a hotel bar.

The Harvester

The Harvester is a place people can go for great live music. Most of the acts are those who are covering hits from North America and Europe but there are some originals as well.
