There are many places for night owls to play in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Downtown

Halifax has the largest amount of pubs per capita in the country, so you’re sure to find an establishment that suits you. Whether it be breakfast at Club Niche, a drag show at the Reflections Cabaret, dancing to live DJs at Club Soda or catching up with a local artists at the Economy Shoe Shop. There are bars on nearly every corner downtown.

Liquor Dome

The Liquor Dome is an all in one spot bar hopping experience with 5 bars under 1 roof. Good times are sure to be had here as well as food, music and dancing. You don’t have far to go to get from a relaxed bar to upscale dining. Enjoy the local music scene, don’t forget your ID and try not to get too rowdy as the bouncers are on point. There are also clubs and other establishments nearby.

Theatre

Catch a variety of plays and musicals at the Neptune Theatre. There’s no such thing as a bad seat at the Neptune. They even have “pay what you can” nights and if you bring in non-perishables they will donate them to the local food bank. The Symphony Nova Scotia is located in Halifax as well and offers classical, big band, ballet and Broadway musicals. Or you can catch the outdoor company Shakespeare By The Sea, a 10 year old company that brings a new spin on Shakespeare in Point Pleasant Park.

Casino Nova Scotia

You can find gambling, good entertainment and a nice view of the harbor at the casino. Members of the Player’s Club can redeem points earned at the casino at various establishments.
