Cebu City Things to Do
Like many other island destinations, Cebu City has much to offer visitors. Tourists love visiting local resorts and other destinations perfect for water activities.
Estaca Bay Garden Resort
Most resorts in Cebu City are situated near Mactan Island, offering the ideal place for people who are looking to relax. Situated in northern Cebu, this resort is also just a short drive from the Mactan Airport. It is a thriving resort, though possibly not the quietest. Still, the resourt has lovely rooms, bars, and restaurants in addition to a clean swimming pool. Here, you can also rent a boat or try horseback riding. You do not to be a guest of the resort to use the swimming pool for a fee.
These gentle falls by OLSOB fall down from the mountains above in a gentle shower. The water in the pool is cool while the water coming down is warm. This provides a great way to wash the salt off after swimming with whale sharks at the beach nearby.
Island Hopping Tour
As part of the island hopping tour, Nalusuan has the best snorkeling of the three. It offers great reefs around a manmade pier. The abundance of fish is amazing partially due to snorkelers being allowed to feed the fish. They also provide lunch here as part of the tour. On Hilutungan, you can swim in a relatively deep area just off the edge of a steep drop. Here, you are more likely to spot large fish.
Plantation Bay and Resort
The main attraction at Plantation Bay and Resort is the manmade saltwater lagoon. Additional attractions include freshwater pools, slides, mist-caves, whirlpools, rainmakers, and other water activities. The beachfront is just 50-meters wide with white sand. It is a great place for sunbathing and beach volleyball, but probably not swimming or snorkeling.
