Casablanca Nightlife

Casablanca offers many lively restaurants, sophisticated bars, and even a few nightclubs. Here are a few of the top nightlife spots found in the city.

Sky 28

Sky 28 is located on the rooftop of the Kenzi Tower Hotel. This bar offers some of the best wine paired with some of the best views of the city. They also have great cocktails, but the prices are a bit high. On a typical evening you will find a jazz band playing to start the night and later on a DJ takes over.

Rick’s Cafe

Rick’s Cafe is modeled after the place that was owned by Bogart’s character in the movie Casablanca. The bar offers exquisite furniture and decor and an overall great atmosphere. The service is exceptional and the piano player is quite good. The drinks are not cheap, so be prepared to pay high prices if you are going to have a drink. There did not seem to be a dress code, but there are people at the door so you could be rejected.

Discos

If you feel like a night of dancing, there are many great discos located throughout Casablanca. You will find most of these dance clubs are located in the nightclubs at the hotels in town. Many of these dance clubs open late, with the majority of the crowds coming in after midnight.

Cabarets

If you are looking for a relaxing time, a Cabaret may be the best choice. These are places where you can sit back and drink a beer while listening to Moroccan music. At some of the cabarets you can even watch belly dancers perform.

Dress Codes

When going out for an evening in Cabaret it is a good idea to check the dress code of the club that you plan to go to. Morocco is a place where people tend to dress more formally. While you are out it is not surprising to see people who are very elegantly dressed. However, even if you are wearing something casual it is unlikely that you will not be allowed in.
