Luggage/Bags

Make sure you only bring small luggage with you. Since you’ll be visiting a country in the vicinity of the European Union, you’ll be sure to visit plenty of other places. If you’re travelling for about a month, a medium-sized luggage plus a hand-carry will suit your purposes well.

If possible try to leave whatever you don’t need at your hotel. Large backpacks or visible cameras will make it obvious you are a tourist and makes it more likely that you will be a target for pick pockets or those wishing to rip you off.

Clothing

Bring a thermal undershirt if you’re traveling in cold weather – it’ll keep you warm and save you from having to wear layers of clothing. Also, bring at least five pairs of socks and a two to three sweaters. Don’t forget two pairs of gloves and a warm head gear like a woolen hat. You don’t need to bring too many clothes as you’re not likely to perspire much. Just bring clothes good enough for one week. Regular laundry will do the trick.

Weather is usually nice in summer, so just bring light clothing, but bring a light jacket in case it rains or is cool.

Bring nice clothing if you plan on attending any clssical music concerts, operas or receptions – business casual at the very least, but evening wear is recommended.
