Aggressive Beggars

There are some aggressive beggars at train stations as well as in metros and trains. The beggars are persistent and will go as far as holding your hand when asking for money from you. The harassment can continue with the beggars following you into a restaurant, without the management stopping them. It is advisable not to engage the beggars or give them any money.

When driving in Lisbon, you will see several people trying to help you when you want to park your car. While there is no problem with this, some of them will take your money and then tell you that every place is suitable for parking.
