Bali Shopping – Shops, Stores, Best Buys & Inside Tips

Bali Shopping

There are many beautiful things to see and do in Bali. However, knowing where to shop can make your stay more enjoyable as well.

Sukawati

Sukawati Market is a large shopping area in Bali. You’ll find great deals on many different types of items. Antiques, jewelry, paintings, dyed fabrics, and other types of handicraft can be found here.

Tanah Lot

There are two rows of shops along the walkway to Tanah Lot Temple. Some of these shops sell souvenir items like t-shirts and key chains for fixed prices. Some of the shops sell more expensive handicraft items. One of these sells beautiful wood carved statues and pictures. You can negotiate the prices on these bigger items, and even arrange to have them shipped to your home.

Painting Gallery

You’ll find artists painting as well as displaying their art at the Painting Gallery. There are many different styles of paintings, different mediums, ranging from small to large. Many of the paintings show the Balinese culture or the local landscape. When you find a painting that you love, you’ll need to negotiate to get a good deal.

Prai Beachwear

A bikini is a must for ladies in Bali. Prai Beachwear lets you choose the bikinis you like online. Then a sales associate comes to your hotel room with the bikinis you chose. You get to try them on, and you don’t have to buy them if you don’t like them. They are pricey, but the fabric and design are top quality.

Ibu Suzy

Ibu Suzy is the perfect place for those who aren’t good at negotiating. You can find lots of fun small items like necklaces, bangles, and hair clips. The prices are great and the staff is very friendly.
