Also, there are many tricksters and frauds in and around Manchester. Be skeptical of anyone attempting to discuss the “deal of the century.” Finally, Manchester has a decent homeless population, and beggars are not shy when it comes to approaching tourists.
Manchester is not the most automobile-friendly city around. Many rental car services are unreliable and have caused tourists numerous headaches. Additionally, numerous individuals have experienced issues with taxis while in Manchester. Taxis are difficult to obtain late at night and book up quickly in the evening.
