Tourists may pick this fruit and eat it, hoping to get a taste of a local flavor. Unfortunately, many of these fruits that grow on these trees are poisonous or harmful to humans. As such, you should avoiding picking any fruit off of trees or bushes and eating it. If you want to try local fruit, stick to fruit that is bought at the markets.

Health Concerns

The last danger of traveling to Brazil is health concerns. Some of the water in Brazil is filled with garbage and feces, bringing up e coli concerns. Mosquitoes in the region may carry Zika. And there is a risk of Malaria when traveling in the jungle region. Always wear bug repellent in Brazil and stay out of areas that look dirty.
