Subic Things to Do
Along with tropical weather and beautiful beaches, visitors to Subic Bay will find plenty of fun and exciting things to do.
Treetop Adventures Park allows visitors to get up-close and personal with the Philippine Jungle. Harnessed riders can fly through the treetops like Superman. For the less adventurous, they also offer chair rides. A canopy walk lets patrons move through the treetops at their own pace. The Zoobic Safari features a Tiger Safari, Petting Zoo, Crocodile Farm, Serpentarium, picnic grounds, coffee shop and Safari Village. Dolphins, sea lions, and pilot whales perform daily at Ocean Adventures.
Exhibits in The World of the Discovery Aquarium include Subic Bay and the South China Sea habitats such as freshwater streams, mangrove forests, deep dark caves, and coral reefs. Jungle Joes has indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a movie theater, go-carts, and an Alice in Wonderland-themed area. Life-sized dinosaurs line Jurassic trail. Built in 1885, the Spanish Gate served as the main entrance to the Spanish Naval Station. Later, the Americans used it as the main gate to their Naval Station.
Cottages dot the beach all around Subic Bay and are available to rent on a daily basis. Each has a kitchen, benches, fans, and even karaoke machines. They’re also reasonably priced. Hotels and good restaurants line the Subic Beach Boardwalk. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the view, and sip an ice cold San Miguel. Camayan Beach has a great view of Subic Bay and the South China Sea. It features a clean beach area, clear water, good restaurants, and plenty of parking.
