The Riverfront Parks is a group of adjoining parks along the lake that separates Windsor from Detroit. One cool stop along the river walk is the Odette Sculpture Park. You can look at some breathtaking modern art with the Detroit skyline as a backdrop.
Windsor is home to four casinos, with the most popular casino, Caesar Windsor, located right on the riverfront. Caesar Windsor has something for everyone with over 3,000 slot machines and 100 different kinds of table games. There are a number of other things to do in the hotels and casinos of Windsor, notably the great restaurants and entertainment.
Point Pelee National Park
Lovers of the outdoors should visit Point Pelee National Park, especially if they are into bird watching. The park is located just off of the southern shore of Lake Eerie, making it an ideal place to see birds stopping for a rest from during their migration. If you go at the right time, you can even see some of the beautiful monarch butterflies making their way down to Mexico for the winter. There is a boardwalk that goes into the marshy area and gives visitors a chances to see even more wildlife. On top of the marsh trail, there are several other hiking trails in the area that give visitors the ability to explore the area and look for birds and butterflies.
