Pasha

Looking for something to eat and maybe to go out dancing after? Pasha is the spot for you. There is a great restaurant with a full service bar. If you’re on your own you can just kick back at the bar while you enjoy your drink, or you can dine on the large menu. When it is all said and done, you can dance it up in the night club. Pasha also puts on dance shows, so if you want to watch professionals perform, this is the spot for you.

Alisher Navoi Theatre

The theater takes to pre-World War II (it was actually constructed just prior to the war, constructed stopped during the war, and then started back up and finished in 1947). This is the pristine theatre in Tashkent and where you’ll see the largest touring acts. From ballets to musical performances, it all goes on here. If you have a chance to see a show, take advantage of it as it really is magical.

Navoi Opera House

Love opera? You’ll love the Navoi Opera House. The facility opens up in September and puts on shows through mid June. While it doesn’t have the same history and establishment as the Alisher Navoi Theatre, you can still see some exceptional performances. Ballets are put on as well, so if this is something of interest, make sure to check it out.

Yakka Orol

Located in Babor Park, you can dine outside in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees and vegetation. There is a stone dance floor in the middle of the tables, so if you feel like moving to the beat and dancing to the music, this is a great spot to check out.

Istiklol Street

Some people may refer to it as “Broadway,” but it is a pedestrian only street where you can find just about anything. Looking to purchase a new movie or some tourist souvenirs for the folks back home? You’ll find it here. Maybe you’d rather stop by a cafe while an artist paints your portrait? Yes, you can find it here as well. There is music throughout the street, dancing locations and some great walking food vendors. Really anything you might be interested in is available here and, best of all, you can just come as you are. Show up in the clothing you have and just walk down the street. If you see something that looks fun, great. If you don’t, there are still other nightclubs, bars and taverns you can stop by.

Rakhimov Studio House

This is where a master ceramicist Akbar Rakhimov works. During the day you can tour the studio. During the night, there are group dinners with live musical performances. But you must be in a group to take it in.
