Cyprus Shopping – Shops, Stores, Best Buys & Inside Tips

Cyprus Shopping

From delicious treats such as Loukoumades to handcrafted ceramic collectibles, Cyprus offers visitors an unforgettable shopping experience.

Open Air Markets

Open-air markets and car boot sales still draw the most shopping traffic in Cyprus. Almost every town hosts at least one open-air market on the weekend. If you’re near any of the places listed below, make sure to stop at one or all of these open-air markets.

A colorful fruit and vegetable market happens every Saturday in the Old Municipal Square of Nicosia. Larnaca holds a car boot sale every Saturday at the Municipal Car Park in Pervolia, and every Sunday in Oroklini. In Limassol, the Linopetra Corner Car Boot Sale takes place every Saturday. In Asomatos village, just outside the center of Limassol, you’ll find the Fasouri Flea Market. It’s a large indoor and outdoor flea market with a wide variety of stalls. For seafront views and a variety of wares, try the Limassol open-air market that takes place every Sunday near St Catherine’s Catholic Church. Timi Village hosts a variety of markets every Sunday. All uncovered open-air markets close during bad weather.

Shops

Don’t miss the Festival Shoe Planet in Limassol. They sell the trendiest shoes at the lowest prices and have a huge collection. If you like challoumi, and want authentic Cypriot challoumi, you can find it at Loulla’s farmhouse located on the outskirts of Choirokoitia. Handmade ceramic pieces line the shelves in Dizayn 74. (The owner studied under a famous Turkish ceramic artist in 1974.) Restaurants and shops throughout Cyprus display his pieces.
