Enjoy Live Music

When you’re in the mood to get something to eat and grab a drink while listening to jazz music, Caffe‘ Concerto is a nice to place visit. This place also serves coffee and leaves newspapers out for guests to read, so you can unwind and catch up with what’s going on in the world. Caffe‘ Concerto puts its fireplace to good use during the cold winter months, creating a welcoming environment that helps guests get cozy.

All That Jazz lets you know what it’s about in its name. Serving local Nepali wine and many imported beers, this venue is a popular place where people gather to socialize and enjoy high-quality jazz music. This bar is located on Main Street in the center of Pokhara. The area is clean and has a laid back vibe.

Club Amsterdam is popular for its live rock music. Enjoy a gin and tonic, made from locally produced gin, while chatting with regulars and listening to some good music.

Nightlife Tips

Bars close at midnight due to local regulations, and generally, the nightlife scene starts to wind down before this deadline. People begin to congregate toward the latter part of the evening, so you can expect bars and dance clubs to be at their busiest from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Lakeside area is the liveliest area of town, and you’ll find many bars and pubs filled with people. Most venues in the city don’t have a dress code, allowing you to wear whatever’s comfortable.

Dance Clubs

You’ll find dance clubs spread throughout the city. Busy Bee Pub and Club Nasha are two of the more popular night clubs, drawing in both locals and foreigners. Both of these venues are lively establishments where you can chat with people from other countries, while listening to live music performed by local Nepali bands.
