Wildwood Things to Do – Attractions & Must See

Wildwood Things to Do

The New Jersey shore (or as natives fondly call it “down the shore”) is a perennial favorite for many vacationers.

The Boardwalk

Boardwalks are commonplace along the Jersey Shore. Wildwood’s has always been considered the biggest and best of the lot and has been around in some form since the late 1800s. More than two miles long, the Boardwalk is host to numerous souvenir shops, eateries, amusement park rides, and a casino. Visitors come to the boardwalk to eat, play, hear music, or meet people. In the early morning or evening, you will find people who walk, run, bike, and even skateboard there for exercise. For a nice walk. take the tram car to the end of the boards then walk back to the start.

Morey’s Piers and Waterparks

Bill Morey started this pier with little more than a giant slide. Today, state-of-the-art rides on a well-kept pier make Morey’s a must-stop for all Wildwood visitors. It’s the largest amusement operator in New Jersey with approximately 89 rides, 90 concessions, and two award-winning water parks.

Water Fun

Parasailing

Everyone should try parasailing at least once. It is exciting and serene at the same time. As you soar approximately 500 feet above the ocean, you can see dolphins and sting rays.

Speedboat Ride & Dolphin Watching

There’s nothing like seeing the dolphins swimming next to your speedboat and jumping out of the water. Join a ride at Wildwood Marina.

Hit the beach

Wildwood’s beaches are consistently voted the best in New Jersey. They stretch for miles, providing enough room for all of your favorite activities: swimming, boogie boarding, or just snoozing under an umbrella.
