Things To Do in Antipolo, Philippines

Antipolo Things to Do

Whether you’re visiting for the beaches or you want to take in the local culture, there is plenty to do in Antipolo on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. These are just a handful of the best opportunities available to you.

The Lady of Antipolo

After the Spanish pushed through Mexico, bringing Catholocism with them, they made their way across the Pacific to the Philippines. Due to this, there are many Lady of Antipolo figures, statues and churches spread throughout the area. Whether you are religious or not, taking in the beautiful artistry that went into these different displays is a must when in Antipolo.

Boso Boso Highlands Resort

You don’t need to be a guest of the hotel in order to take advantage of the resort features. There are day pass options if you just want to stop in for a relaxing day. The swimming pool here might have the best view of the entire city; from here, you can see for miles. Plus, when you’re done with the pool, you can enjoy a few delicious cocktails and just take a break from the heat.

Hinulugang Taktak

These beautiful waterfalls are tucked away and appear as you round a hiking bend, almost as if by magic. If you visit the official Antipolo government website, you’ll see the falls compared to Niagara Falls. But in terms of sheer size and water volume, the two don’t come close, so don’t expect to see Niagara Falls in the middle of the Philippines. However, the tranquility and lush forest around the falls, along with the beauty of the waterfalls, makes it a must-see.

PACEM Eco-Park

At the PACEM Eco-Park, you can enjoy what nature has to offer. See thousands of native flowers and plants, plus butterflies. While you might not spend all day here, walking through the eco-park for a few hours is a relaxing stop on a busy itinerary.

Inday Nelly’s Mystical Cave

This is an interesting small cave to explore, and while the name truly is enticing, you’re not likely to experience any kind of mystical interaction (unless you accidently bang your head on some of the stone formations within the cave, so watch your head). The cave itself is named for Inday Nelly Deles, the woman who discovered the cave. She had a dream of a cave when she was seven, so she set out to find it as an adult. This is the cave she found.
