Tenby Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Tenby Nightlife

Visiting Wales will you a chance to see some majestic country and to meet the people from the area. If you’re looking for bars, clubs, and nightlife in this seaside town, then check out these recommendations.

The Three Most Popular Taverns, Bars, and Inns in Tenby

Popular spots in Tenby include the Lifeboat Tavern, The Buccaneer, and the Tenby House. They’re all located nearby at the bottom of the square for easy hopping. The Lifeboat staff is full of happy staff and patrons, but the prices are also among the highest in the area. The bar staff and patrons can be a little prickly at Tenby House, but you’ll get your drink quickly and have your option of dancing, relaxing, or playing pool while you sip your cocktail or beer. The Buccaneer Inn is crowded, so be prepared for a bit of wait. Otherwise, it’s a fun place to be.

Notable Pub Mentions

Quiet times call for the Quay Room which is further along down the square. Or try The Nomandie pub along Frog Street or the Twisted Shamrock for some Irish charm. The Three Mariners tends to attract young kids looking to cause trouble, but some people like it for its colorful characters, fun dart games, and sometimes dreadful karaoke. Regardless of what type of bar experience you prefer, you’re likely to find it here.

Dancing the Night Away in Tenby

The Prince of Wales, DJ’s, and The Sands are all clubs where you can dance the night away. If you want to stay in town, go to Prince of Wales as the latter two are located outside the main square. Prince of Wales may not be the most raved about club, but it has a lighted dance floor and a convenient location. If you feel like venturing out, take a free minibus from town to DJ’s where you can get decently priced drinks and check out the crowd. Should you stay until closing time though, your only way to get back to town will be by taxi. With a VIP room, friendly bar staff, and bouncers ready to throw people out at the first hint of inappropriate behavior, The Sands is good for a classy dancing experience.
