Bangkok Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Bangkok Nightlife

Bangkok is one of the most-visited cities in Asia, and for good reason. It has rich cultural history and some of the best nightlife in the world. You could spend two months in Bangkok and not run out of fun things to do.

Nana Plaza

Nana Plaza is a must visit for nightlife enthusiasts making a visit to Bangkok, Thailand, though not a family-oriented area. It’s considered the red light district of the city and it is filled with minimally dressed women. The area is basically a courtyard surrounded on all sides by three-story buildings with patios. As far as “nightlife areas” in Bangkok go, it is not as much of a tourist area compared to others. If the many Ladyboy bars here aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other great party options in the area.

Bed Supper Club

If you want to eat in an interesting-looking restaurant with some great amenities and superlative food, this is the place. The dance floor at the center of the room is surrounded on all sides by beds. Partygoers can transition from 0 to 100 when switching from relaxing to dancing. The club has full-time massage therapists on hand giving out massages for $10. Some of the best DJs in the city have been known to make appearances at this club. If you can’t decide what kind of experience you are looking for, this is the place for you in Bangkok.

Hard Rock Cafe

Sometimes you get a little overwhelmed by the new culture and need a little slice of home when on vacation. If this is the case when you are in Bangkok, head down to the Hard Rock Cafe. Of course, it’s Bangkok, so it’s not a typical Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant is a night club as well. It seems just about everything in Bangkok is a nightclub. It is located in the heart of Bangkok in Siam Square.

Soi Cowboy

This street packs a lot of punch in a small area. The road is under 200 meters long, but still finds a way to be packed with nightclubs, performances and go-go bars. You usually need to buy a drink to enter any establishment on this strip. Many consider Soi Cowboy to be the ideal location in Bangkok for nighttime entertainment.

Suan Lum Night Bazaar

Like nightclubs and dancing? Also enjoy shopping? Combine both with a visit to this nighttime market. It has everything from shopping, to entertainment, to entertainment. There is even a Ferris wheel, which is the sole reason some people visit the Suan Lum Night Bazaar. The prices aren’t as low as some other shopping centers in Bangkok, but they don’t offer everything this shopping center does.

Khao San Road

Khao San is where a lot of young travelers go for the Bangkok night club experience. This part of town is more tourist-welcoming than other nightlife centers in Bangkok, maybe because it is vibrant and energetic on a 24/7 basis.
