With around 450 properties, mostly in the U.S., and a narrow focus on the budget segment of the travel market, Red Roof Inns isn’t for everyone. But if it is for you, this offer makes the chain’s low rates that much more attractive.

Through August 31, members of Red Roof Inn’s RediCard program can earn a free night after three paid stays.

As with Choice Hotels’ recurring free-night promotions, this one from Red Roof tops off the points earned for the qualifying stays to reach 6,000 points, which automatically generates a free-night certificate.

Registration is required.

Deal or No Deal

Assuming the three qualifying stays are one-nighters, this promotion amounts to getting four for the price of three, a 25 percent discount.

Although that’s not bad, there are better hotel offers available. But you’ll probably have to spend more to take advantage of them.
