Airbnb Wants You to Sleep in a Shark Tank for a Night

Airbnb is at it again. The home rental company that awarded a romantic stay for two in the Paris catacombs last fall is now offering up a free night’s stay inside a shark tank alongside 35 new toothy friends.

How generous.

Three winners and their plus-ones will be flown to Paris to sleep with the fishes inside a 360-degree glass observation tank at the Aquarium de Paris. The aquarium is home to touch pools, a two-screen cinema, and the piece de resistance, a shark tunnel. If your visions of Paris are a bit more aquatic than a touch pool, however, enter here.

The lodging is tight, but includes an ambient dinner for two (not counting the carnivores), breakfast, ocean-themed decor, and shampoo for showering—though its unclear exactly where the bathing will happen. (Hopefully not on the other side of the glass.)

House rules include “no selfies after dark” to avoid disturbing the sharks with flash; and a diver will be present early in the evening to educate the tenants about the beautiful creatures and to feed them. Stays are on April 11, 12, and 13, so enter by providing a brief introduction and why you’d be a good roommate by April 3.

If you survive the night, the iconic Eiffel Tower is located just steps away across the Seine River—and it’s the perfect reward for keeping your cool.
