Columbus Day is just around the corner, and the sales are here now. October 12 marks the holiday, so if you’re looking to get away for a long weekend, you’ll find plenty of ways to save. Here’s a quick roundup of some of the offers good for Columbus Day weekend travel by airlines, online travel agencies, and hotels:

American has sale fares from $88 roundtrip, good for Columbus Day weekend travel.
AirTran has almost 2,500 routes on sale, with roundtrip fares from $78.
Frontier has over 1,000 routes on sale, with roundtrip fares from $88.
Southwest has nearly 4,000 sale routes, with roundtrip fares from $96.
Expedia has a long list of discounted hotel rates around the country. For example, rates at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas start at $42 per night during the holiday weekend.
Travelocity is offering discounted rates on October sailings to Mexico and the Caribbean. Columbus Day weekend sailings include four-night cruises to the Bahamas, the Western Caribbean, and Mexico, with rates from $149 per person.
At the YMCA of the Rockies in both Estes Park and Winter Park, you can get a third night free in cabins and lodge rooms when you stay between October 10 and 12.
