New York's capital city attracts lots of corporate guests, but both business and leisure travelers will find plenty of attractions to keep them entertained. Visitors won't want to miss the Empire State Plaza, which was envisioned by Nelson A. Rockefeller, who wanted to make Albany "the most electrifying capital in the world." The New York State Capitol, which took more than 30 years to build, was recently renovated. Visitors can also stop in for a concert or show at the Center for the Performing Arts, also known as The Egg because of its unusual shape.
Albany International Airport, which recently completed a multi-million dollar redevelopment project, is the home base for flights to Albany.
