The white sand beaches of Sarasota, Florida, are enough to impress visitors, but the city's circus heritage makes this town truly unique. John Ringling made his home here, and today the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and Ca d'Zan (house of John) bear the legacy of the "Greatest Show on Earth" creator. The fun doesn't stop with the circus, though. Myakka River State Park offers the opportunity to walk along America's first canopy walkway as well as kayak on the river or the Upper Myakka Lake.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport serves more than one million passengers each year, so finding flights to Sarasota should be a simple task.
