The city of Clearwater, Florida, proudly lays claim to 28 miles of clean, welcoming beaches. In particular, the relaxing waves on Clearwater Beach can be irresistible. The beach has been designated as a Blue Wave Beach by the Clean Beaches Council, in part because of its habitat conservation. Nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings are often found in the sands, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium works to protect the nests and eggs and to ensure that the hatchlings are able to return to the water. Located near Tampa and St. Petersburg, visitors will have ample opportunity to experience city life as well.

Finding flights to Clearwater should be an easy task, since the city is served by two major airports, Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.
