With its landscape of vineyards and rolling hills dotted with cypress and olive trees, Tuscany is quintessential Italy. The region holds much of what Italy has to offer, including good food and wine (Chianti is produced there), plus Renaissance art, famous churches, and Etruscan artifacts. Florence, Siena, Lucca, and San Gimignano are among Tuscany's most popular destinations, but visitors can tour its other towns by car, train, or bicycle, soaking in life under the Tuscan sun.

Things to do in Tuscany range from shopping for high fashion in Florence to climbing the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa to wine tasting in Chianti. The Tuscan hills draw visitors from around the world, and its charming scenery and welcoming locals may entice travelers to stay forever.

Flights to Tuscany will touch down at one of two area airports. The larger airport, Galileo Galilei International Airport, is located in Pisa; while the Amerigo Vespucci Airport provides service to Florence.
