With a warm, tropical climate, Bangkok is a popular destination any time of the year. However, the monsoon season from May through October keeps many visitors at bay with unpredictable storms, although it is the least expensive time to visit.
Most people prefer to come to Bangkok during November through April, when the weather is dry and pleasant, even though prices are at their peak.

Bangkok experiences three seasons, with sunny days throughout most of the year. February through April can be hot and dry, with an average high temperature of 92 degrees and 75 percent humidity. Rain is common May through October during monsoon season, when high temperatures average 90 degrees and humidity rises to 80 percent. November through January sees an average high of 88 degrees and 75 percent humidity.
Hotels, shops, and attractions remain open throughout the year.
When to Save
Prices rise in November through April, when the weather is at its best. The low season brings the most rain, but it's also the least expensive time to visit the city.
