About Sydney

From an outsider's perspective, Sydney seems like a combination of the best aspects of other world-class destinations: New York's arts and culture, Southern California's beaches and fun-loving atmosphere, Chicago's innovative architecture, and San Francisco's culinary scene. But the city also possesses its own unique Australian characteristics, and Sydney attractions include urban wildlife you've only ever seen on The Discovery Channel, aboriginal art galleries, and one heck of an opera house. The city has truly come into its own since making its symbolic international debut at the 2000 Olympics, and there is no better time to visit Sydney than the present.

Flights to Sydney touch down at the aptly named Sydney Airport.
