When to Visit Thailand

by SmarterTravel Staff

Thailand's tropical climate makes it a warm destination year-round. The most popular times to visit are during February through May, which has some of the best weather, and during November through January when tourists come to avoid the cold weather in their own countries.

The rainy season (June through October) is less busy in general, but the rain only lasts for two to three hours and the rest of the day remains hot and sunny.
