The holidays are finally upon us. Arriving at the airport early is the number-one most important thing you can do when flying during the holidays. However, you can't count on an understanding attitude from your airline.

Many flights are completely full around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, so if you miss your scheduled flight, it may not be easy to get on another flight in a reasonable amount of time.
