You don't have to devour as many wings as champion eater Sonya Thomas at the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York, although there certainly are plenty of opportunities to gorge. This year's festival, on September 1 and 2, will spotlight contests galore, including two hot sauce recipe competitions (traditional and creative), wing eating championships, and a beauty pageant. Admission is $5 per day.
