Cabo San Lucas: Kayaking

Cabo San Lucas

Though many may equate Cabo San Lucas as a party haven, the area offers a great deal more than tequila shooters and all night dancing. Our readers love its food, fishing, outdoor sports, and beaches, as well as the occasional margarita.

Reader joyandherb said, "We just got back from Cabo San Lucas! What a beautiful place! We stayed at Welk Resort - Sirena Del Mar. It's a small resort with a semi-private beach, great food, and a delightful, relaxing atmosphere. It's a short bus or taxi ride to town and all bartering, whale watching, sunset cruises, wave runners, and ATV tours. But you can go back to the quiet resort and relax on the beach, swim in the pools, or just hang out in the huge hot tub."

Reader dochages said, "Favorite place is Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The fishing is amazing, the food is great, and the nightlife is fun, varied, and energetic. It has taken 20 years of visits to find some of the off-the-path local eateries that we really enjoy. Travel in the southern Baja in the surrounding 100 mile radius is beautiful, desolate, and scenic. The people are friendly and kind. Even in remote areas, you feel safe."
