Grand Cayman: Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

With crystal-clear waters and an array of water sports, such as parasailing, Seven Mile Beach—which isn't exactly seven miles, shhhh—attracts people from all over the world, including quite a few of our readers. The beach's location (close to many hotels, restaurants, and shops) makes it a convenient choice for those who appreciate amenities.

Reader jonellcarey is an obvious fan, and said, "Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, is as close to heaven on earth as I can imagine. The pure white sugar sand beach is stunningly beautiful. The water color and quality is perfect inside a protective reef making it a world class location for snorkeling, water play, and wildlife viewing. The uncrowded beach is situated directly facing west so as to be able to experience breathtaking sunsets made even more perfect by a traditional Cayman rum punch. Add the one you love and who could possibly ask for more..."

Reader alm751 kept it simple, "Seven Mile Beach—beautiful during the day and at sunset—never get tired of going there."
