Puerto Rico: Flamenco Beach

Flamenco Beach, Culebra, Puerto Rico

With an endless horizon and sand as far as the eye can see, Flamenco Beach is a sun baby's delight. The beach has received accolades as one of the most beautiful beaches before from the Discovery Channel, and our readers agree.

Reader cattawissa said, "Flamenco Beach, Culebra, Puerto Rico, is the best! A huge ring of powder-white sand [surrounds] the most beautiful colors of blue--deep blue to turquoise. A nice campground and food kiosks with great Puerto Rican food make it accessible to any budget. So why is it peaceful and uncrowded? I guess I shouldn't tell anyone."

Reader justjewelz agrees that Flamenco is a hidden gem, and said, "Untouched surroundings, all natural, it is not commercialized, and it is pure beach heaven. Soft sand, clear blue water, and mountains in its natural state. Great to snorkel, float, and admire one of the world's greatest beaches.
